Trash & Recycling

Dumpsters, bags, and compost

There are two large dumpsters in the alley along the fence — one for trash and one for recycling. If you need to take out garbage during your stay, you're welcome to use them.

No need to take out trash before you leave

The cleaners take out the trash after your stay, so don't feel obligated to do it before checkout.

The Dumpsters

General household waste goes in the trash dumpster.

Recycling

Clean recyclables go in the recycling dumpster.

Gate remote required

You'll need the gate remote to access the alley where the dumpsters are located.

Bags & Bins

Garbage Bags

Extra garbage and recycling bags are under the sink. The bins are simplehuman, so you'll need to match the correct bag to the correct bin.

🗑️

Trash Bags

Standard bags for the trash bin. Check the bag size code on the simplehuman bin and match it to the bags under the sink.

Recycling Bags (Blue)

The blue bags are for recycling. Use these in the recycling bin.

Compost

We have a compost bin outside, but there isn't currently an indoor receptacle for collecting compost.

If you'd like to compost during your stay, you're welcome to — but you'll need to take it out to the compost bin yourself.
